Michael Imperatore, the founder of Decor Design Labs, brings over 25 years of expertise in furniture fabrication and design to the business. His journey began with a transformative four-year apprenticeship in furniture craftsmanship and design under the mentorship of the head Upholstery Instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology. This hands-on experience solidified his passion for creating tangible, one-of-a-kind pieces and laid the foundation for his career. Over the years, Michael has honed his skills across a wide array of materials, including wood, metal, resin, and stone, combining artistry with precision to deliver bespoke designs.
